I believe that the only way to achieve change and development is to accept yourself as you are. It sounds a bit paradoxical, but I think that real change cannot happen until every aspect of the personality is accepted, including its “shadow” side. Or as Carl Jung stated, “No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.”
To facilitate this process, I strive to create an environment in which everyone can feel unconditionally accepted and understood, so that they have the opportunity to develop their potential and connect to their authentic Self.
I see the human being as a combination of mind, body, soul, and spirit. Therefore, I believe that when holistic approach is used, self-actualization and awareness occur. In my practice I use cognitive-behavioural interventions, schema-therapy, projective tests, dream analysis, meditation and breathing exercises.
